School re-opens for students on Wednesday 2nd September at 8:45am.
I hope you have all had a wonderful break and ready for an exciting new school year.
Hoping to build on the success of last year we will be focused on supporting students to attend regularly and maximise their learning, particularly in English and Maths, with additional Literacy and Numeracy lessons.
Students will have the opportunity to choose activities from our exciting curriculum that now includes E-Sports, Cycling, Hill walking, swimming, Football Academy, Construction, Salon Skills, Crafting skills and Cooking, not forgetting the GCSE subjects of English Language and Literature, Maths, Double Science, History, Art, Citizenship and Religious Studies.
To further support Literacy and Numeracy all students will have sessions in Bedrock, a very successful tool for improving literacy skills, reading classes and Financial Literacy. It is our aim to have every student at Chadwick proficient in English and Maths and to leave school with qualifications in both subjects.
If you are requiring a new school jumper these are available from the office at the cost of £20.
If any parents would like to visit the school and speak with me I will now be in the school full time to make myself more available.
